What is the Much4 thing and how do I use it?

Much4 allows you to create Projects and share those projects with other people. Each project has tasks which are the units of work.

You start with a default project calls "My Tasks". You cannot share this project. It's a private project that you can use as a scratch pad. Let's add a task to this project. Click on the "Add" link next to "My Tasks". A text box will appear. Type the following into the text box:

High: Check out more of Much4 {13}
You've created a High priority task to check out Much4 and assigned it 13 points.

"What are these 'points' things?" you ask.
Points are a measurement of the amount of effort it will take to complete a task. Points are a non-linear Fibonacci series used to rank difficulty (See).

Once you've created your tasks, you can change the priority, description and points just by clicking on the item you want to change and checking it.

Next, create a new Project by clicking on the "New Project" link at the bottom of the page. You'll be prompted for the name of the new project. You can add new tasks to the project the same way you added tasks to "My Tasks."

You can invite other people to join a project. Click on the "members" link and you'll see a dialog prompting you to add members to the project. Enter members by their email address. If the person you want to add has an account on Much4, their email address will appear, otherwise you'll get a notification that they don't have an account on Much4. Because Much4 is not a social networking site, Much4 will not send an invitation to people you add. If they don't have an account, please send them email and ask them to sign up.

If someone has invited you to join a project, a notification will appear in the upper right of your Much4 window and you can accept or reject the invitation by clicking on the appropriate link.

Once your project has other members, you can assign tasks to them either when you create the task or in the pull-down. To assign a task to a team member when you type it in, just put their first name, last name, or email address in square braces:

Low: Look for a moose {3} [David]
